In the process of using resin grinding wheels, some unnecessary injuries caused by operating errors occasionally occur. In order to prevent this from happening, our company specially integrates some pre-use inspections and safe use methods for buyers:

1. Check whether the speed of the equipment matches the speed of the product; and check whether the equipment used is normal?

The maximum speed of the product matches the speed of the equipment: the maximum working speed of the product identification must be greater than the maximum speed of the equipment

2. The protective cover of the cutting machine must be intact and firm, and the belt cover must be intact;

3. When installing the grinding wheel, choose a suitable flange (should conform to the industry standard), the outer diameter must be the same, the bore diameter matches the shaft diameter, and the special wrench is used to clamp the grinding wheel. (Too loose or too tight will not work)

4. Use the matching flange and use the special wrench tool. The workpiece must be fixed firmly. Under the cutting pressure, the workpiece must not be loose or offset.

5. When the workpiece is cutting, the material head should have enough margin

6. Do not hold or step on the workpiece to cut

7. The side of the slice can not be polished

8. Do not face the grinding wheel directly when cutting

9. Do not operate the angle grinder with one hand for grinding

10. The grinding angle of the grinding disc is recommended to be 25--35°

11. It is not allowed to use the cutting machine in places with explosive dust.

12. It is strictly forbidden to use broken grinding wheels, such as chipped edges, broken, internal injuries, and prevent sparks from splashing when cutting, and keep away from flammable and explosive materials.

13. When cutting, the operator must deviate from the rotating surface of the grinding wheel, wear suitable work clothes, do not wear loose work clothes, and strictly prohibit wearing jewelry or long hair.

It is strictly forbidden to operate without gloves and cuffs and wear protective glasses.

14. The clamping device should be operated flexibly, and the clamping should be reliable. The handwheel, screw rod, nut, etc. should be intact.

There should be no slippage or random buckle in the pattern. Handwheel operating force is generally not more than 6kg.

15. The operating handle lever should have sufficient strength and rigidity to keep the grinding wheel free after all parts are installed

16. The lever shaft of the operating handle should be intact, flexible and reliable in rotation, and locked with a nut after being assembled with the lever.

17. When replacing a new grinding wheel in the middle, the power supply must be cut off, and the lock nut should not be too forcefully used to prevent accidents caused by the cracking of the grinding wheel.

18. When cutting the workpiece, there must be a proper margin of the material head to avoid excessive deflection of the cut to the right and bursting.

19. The belt of the cutting machine should be tightened to avoid low slippage efficiency during cutting, causing serious burns and blockages, and the belt should have a protective cover.

20. Slowly touch the workpiece when cutting, and avoid heavy mechanical collision with the workpiece.

21. The cutting process should be carried out slowly with moderate force. When it is difficult to cut or jam, the handle should be lifted slowly to avoid serious blockage, product deformation, cracks, etc.

Storage and transportation of grinding wheels

The grinding wheel is susceptible to temperature, humidity, vibration, collision, extrusion and storage time, ultraviolet rays and other factors. The correct storage and transportation of the grinding wheel is of great significance to prevent accidents. To this end, the following should be done:

1) The grinding wheel should be stored in a dedicated storage rack.

2) The storage of the grinding wheel should be reduced as much as possible to prevent cracks caused by impact and vibration. The grinding wheel is brittle, please do not subject it to impact, drop or collision.

3) Do not contact the alkaline solution when storing the resin grinding wheel, otherwise it will reduce the strength and grinding force of the abrasive tool. Do not put it under dampness and blow it directly to prevent bending and deformation. The grinding wheel cannot be stored for a long time. The resin will deteriorate after more than one year. At this time, it must be used after strict inspection. Resin flake grinding wheels should be prevented from deforming during storage.

4) The storage of the grinding wheel should be based on the manufacturer's instructions, and the expired grinding wheel cannot be used casually.

5) During the transportation of the grinding wheel, it should not be stored with metal objects, and vibration and impact should be reduced.

6) Abrasive tools should be stored in a dry place, the room temperature is not lower than 5 degrees Celsius; when the grinding wheels are stacked, the stacking height is generally not more than 1.5m.

7) Abrasive tools should be placed separately according to specifications, and the storage place should be marked to avoid confusion and errors. The placement method should be determined by the size of the grinding shape.
